AutoTile™
The following depicts the typical AutoTile installation sequence.
Select "Survey" from the AutoTile menu.
Survey the path where tile will be installed by driving over it. Your path will be drawn on the map as you proceed. When done, pressing "Surveying" returns you to the AutoTile menu.
Select "Install" from the AutoTile menu.
Select the survey you wish to install by turning the rotary dial on the CDU. The currently selected survey is shown in heavy green. Then press "Select" to proceed.
Return to where you intend to start installing, usually the outlet (low) end. AutoTile will draw the surveyed ground profile, and the shallowest and deepest possible installation profiles matching your currently selected min depth, max depth and min grade settings. By default it will put outlet on the nearer end of the surveyed path, so the profiles won't make sense until you are nearer the starting end, assuming you're installing uphill (the usual case). You can manually override this behavior using the "Switch" and "Reverse Outlet" buttons. See Operator's Manual for details on this. You can adjust the depth and min grade parameters by pressing the button next to them and turning the dial, and the profiles will automatically update to reflect the changes. Press "Select" to continue.
Lower the plow to the starting depth. Press "Done Lowering" to begin installing.
Installation follows the surveyed path. Current location and the surveyed path will be displayed on the map (upper portion of screen), and the side profile will be displayed on the lower portion of the screen. A vertical line marks your progress along the profile, and the installed profile is displayed superimposed on the target. Installation will progress from left to right on the profile. Press "Installing" when you are done, and you will progress to the Summary screen.
